Hatha Yoga goes beyond the physical practice.  In Sanskrit, the word "hatha" can be translated as "sun" (ha) and "moon" (ta), while "yoga" comes from the word "yug," meaning "union." Together, the name "Hatha yoga" represents a yoga practice that balances the polarities—the sun and moon energy, the light and the dark—within the self. This balance is achieved by pairing physical postures (asanas) with breathing techniques (pranayama). The sequence of poses in Hatha yoga will vary from class to class but tend to follow a general structure.

    The class completes with meditation + relaxation to start your day feeling peaceful yet energized.

    Each session is 45min yoga + 15min extended relaxation

  • The iHART HOME opens its doors to friends and family and YOU for weekly, monthly, and seasonal wellness experiences.

    Twice a year we offer group retreats usually at the spring and fall equinox.

    Seasonal and sometimes monthly gatherings are offered always by donation + pay it forward principles.

    Fire Fridays EVERY FRIDAY ~ 5pm yoga + 7pm plant-based food share + 8pm fire gazing meditation

    Fire gatherings happen outside weather permitting, and once it is too cold we gather around the fireplace inside :) Join us on one, some, or all Fridays in a month or season.

    Monthly Hikes are hosted on the 3rd Sunday of every month from April to Nov - Contact us for exact dates
